They swing back for easy mounting & dismounting for the passenger. These armrests also include the extended bracket, so that the trunk may be opened without swinging out the armrest pads. Ergo Tour Mounts have defined the highway peg market for the GL1500 and GL1800 for many years now. Kuryakyn redesigned the clamp assembly to simplify installation, improve footrest position, and increase cornering clearance on the GL1800 models. Küryakyn Highway pegs offer a wide range of adjustment. It is the responsibility of the installer or the end user to ensure the pegs do not interfere with the operation or cornering clearance of the motorcycle. GL1800 bikes have the Ergo II Mounts, while GL1500 come with the original Ergo Mounts.

When ordering screens with a vent hole please note that the hole will only fit a GL1800 OEM vent, even on GL1500 bikes. So, GL1500 OEM vents will not work with these windshields. If you need to order a vent, order #8510, because it will be shipped directly from the factory with no additional shipping cost.
Plus 4" screens are stationary and will not adjust up and down.
Plus 4" screens with vent hole include the vent in the pricing, because the vents are modified to fit this particular screen.
