Kuryakyn redesigned the clamp assembly to simplify installation, improve footrest position, and increase cornering clearance on the GL1800 models. Küryakyn Highway pegs offer a wide range of adjustment. It is the responsibility of the installer or the end user to ensure the pegs do not interfere with the operation or cornering clearance of the motorcycle. GL1800 bikes have the Ergo II Mounts, while GL1500 come with the original Ergo Mounts. Even when not in use, these finely chromed boards are a big improvement over the dull aluminum stock units. When folded down, they offer a secure, comfortable perch for your passenger. The most important and unique feature of this system is the hidden retractable passenger cruise pegs. A folding arm and footrest deploys to provide an alternate foot position 4-1/2 higher and 5-1/2 farther forward than the stock foot position.
